7 Platform Architecture Challenge
A civic architecture challenge where infrastructure, public space, narrative, and contemporary Iranian architecture became one design question.

Project context & question
Isfahan Municipality sought a pedestrian and recreational bridge over the Zayandeh Rud that could become more than a functional crossing: a contemporary cultural and social place grounded in Isfahan’s identity.
RootPlat intervention
RootPlat authored the strategic problem statement, translated municipal ambitions into an interdisciplinary brief, and managed the architectural challenge between the client and six invited teams.
Strategic approach
The brief aligned user experience, environmental resilience, historical identity, and long-term urban value so the teams could address one shared and assessable design question.
What we delivered
- Challenge structure
- Design brief
- Public communication logic
- Publication structure
- Analytical project narrative
Project outcome
The challenge expanded the architectural conversation around a public infrastructure project and generated a documented knowledge artifact.
